Welcome to my E-Portfolio! My name is Raegan Parks and I am a recent graduate from Hollins University’s MAT and Licensure program. My license is in PreK-6th grade. I currently reside in Roanoke, Virginia. I graduated from Radford University in 2019 with a Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training. Although my undergraduate isn’t in education, I have always had an interest in teaching. From the first day of kindergarten, with the assistance from my teacher, education became a huge passion for me. My goal is to be able to create a fun, active and engaging learning environment, while also facilitating the growth of my students to reach their learning goals.
My Teaching Goals:
- Create a learning environment that challenges students to think outside the box, work collaboratively with peers, and to succeed in their individual learning goals.
- Foster a classroom that challenges students to think critically and take charge of their own learning needs.
- Develop empathic, strong-willed, and self-confident students who are ready to use their education to push themselves forward in the world.
- Use collaboration with students, colleagues, parents, and the surrounding community to facilitate instructional plans that tailor to individual learning needs.
